Texas Democratic Presidential Debate

Last night I was not fortunate enough to see the Austin debate in person but I did watch with a capacity crowd at Mother Egan’s. There were no great surprises in the evening much like all of the presidential debates this primary season. Both candidates did a fairly good job of getting their points across.

Hillary’s main point seemed to be “I deserve the nomination and I don’t know why I am losing so many primaries and caucuses.” Her attack on Obama about using phrases handed to him by one of his top advisers showed she is getting desperate to find something to try and get more people to support her lagging campaign.

Watch Hillary’s “OOPS, I Could have had a V-8“moment as she will not let go of her attack. That was anything but leadership. It’s called desperation and being petty. I also liked the way she mentioned John Edwards several times during the part about health care as a way to try and woe the John Edwards supporters to her campaign. Am I the only one who remembers Hillary saying that health care would have to wait till her second term when the democratic candidates had their forum in Las Vegas?

I voted for Barack Obama on the first day of early voting in Texas. I hope everyone will get out and vote and vote OBAMA! It is time for change in DC not just more of the same!!!!
