Bill Richardson To Drop Out Of Presidential Race

Bill Richardson is dropping out of the Presidential race after losing in Iowa and New Hampshire. I cannot say that I blame him after the incredible bad showings he and in both races and in every public forum since the race began. Bill Richardson is an intelligent man and has been a good governor in New Mexico but did not show any presidential qualities since joining the race for the White House. The Big Question is who will he endorse once he drops out?

Bill Richardson drew single digits in the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary.

(CNN) – New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson will quit the race for the Democratic presidential nomination after fourth-place showings in the campaign’s first contests, a Democratic strategist close to Richardson’s campaign said Wednesday.

Richardson, who served as United Nations ambassador and energy secretary in the Clinton administration, drew 5 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary and 2 percent in last week’s Iowa caucuses, far behind
leading Democrats Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards.

“The numbers are the reason — not enough votes and not enough money,” the strategist told CNN. However, “He enjoyed it and believes he made a contribution,” the strategist said.
